engagement photos and more

So much is happening on the wedding front all at once, and slowly but surely everything is falling into place!

Yesterday we had a wonderful time strolling through Central Park with our talented friend, Nina, as she snapped lots of photos of us.  Nina has a great eye for details, and made us both feel comfortable during the session.  We also stopped by St. Bartholomew on Park Avenue at the end of the day, just as it was beginning to rain.  Clayton's parents were married at St. Barts, so it was special for us to capture our own moment in front of such a meaningful place - on Palm Sunday! Enjoy a sneak peak of our photos...more to come soon!

Thank you, Nina, for such a fabulous day - can't wait to see more pictures!

Nina is also designing our Save the Dates, which will be finished soon and then it will be on to sending them to everyone on our guest list...

Last week I worked on booking our hotel wedding blocks.  Both Hotel Indigo and Courtyard Marriott in Basking Ridge were accommodating and efficient in providing discounts for our wedding guests and free shuttle service to and from the event.  I'm close to being finished with our wedding website, so all hotel information will be posted there soon!

I have almost decided on bridesmaid dresses, but for some reason it has been one of the more difficult decisions I've had to make!  Chiffon?  Lux chiffon?  Satin?  Matte Satin? Renaissance Satin?  Whaaaat!?  Never knew there were so many fun choices!  I like several different looks a lot, and cannot seem to decide on a look for my girls.  I know they will look good no matter what, but it's hard to make a decision when you are visualizing the entire look/color palette.

This week we are taking another day trip to Bedminster, where we will meet with the tent company, caterers, and our minister.

Moving right along and having so much fun planning our day!  :)
